The concept of 2WOR has roots on Dani's Commedia dell'Arte background. Theatre performed on a horse cart, at human pace. The travel itself is part of the show, the pace is set by the contact with the territory and the people. Now the horse is made of steel, and the speed has quadrupled! From 3 to 12 mph :-D The jester, with an essential baggage, just the trusted 3-row melodeon on his back, confronts with the issues of the climate, the water, the soil, the mirth and folly of the men, the wisdom of the No Tav (anti-high speed train) movement in the Susa Valley of Piedmont. Piedmont is the bridge between France and the Mediterranean. Genoan poet-songwriter Fabrizio De André sang the primeval roots of his city, the sailors, merchants and pirates. The ballads of the troubadours, the itinerant story-singers who crossed the (imaginary) Line On The Ground between Piedmont and France, are the roots of this 21st Century troubadour. Zero impact, human pace, zero fuel, but real time, live blogging. Who wants to join the bet?
